Job Description:
Xira Infotech is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester to join our team in Vapi, Gujarat. The Automation Tester will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining automated and manual test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of websites, applications, and software. The ideal candidate will be experienced in both manual and automated testing processes, have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain automated test scripts for a range of applications, including websites, mobile applications, and software solutions.
– Perform manual testing as needed to ensure thorough coverage of all testing scenarios.
– Identify, document, and track defects, providing detailed and accurate feedback to the development team.
– Collaborate with developers and product managers to define testing requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
– Design, develop, and implement robust testing frameworks for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments.
– Perform end-to-end testing, functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing on all products.
– Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and test reports.
– Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality releases.
– Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness through automation and new technologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
– 1-3 years of experience in manual and automation testing for websites, applications, and software.
– Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
– Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test case design, and debugging processes.
– Experience with test management tools and defect tracking tools.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues.
Preferred Skills:
– Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or C# for writing test scripts.
– Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
– Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with version control systems such as Git.
